WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Employee Retention Program Manager leads and maintains PSSI’s Employee Retention Program and ERP Coordinators at multiple locations within an assigned geographic area to ensure proper execution of all five elements of ERP. Duties include but are not limited to:

Manage all Five Elements of the ERP Program

  1. Guarding the Front Door – Hiring Selectivity:

  2. Partner with the local workforce office and non-profits, request paid advertising, and maintain offsite recruitment partnerships to attract applicants.

  3. Show applicants the New Applicant Video, conduct interviews, review work history, define essential job functions and explain the benefits of a career with PSSI.

  4. Make hiring decision and extend job offer.

  5. Ensure that all screening requirements are completed, while also ensuring that the Trainer New Hire White Board in maintained.

  6. Manage 24-Hour Experience

  7. Conduct initial orientation, complete new hire paperwork in Talent Reef, and issue the 30-day Challenge.

  8. Understand all 8 items required in the 24-Hour Experience for every Brown Hat and ensure ERPC’s understand and own this process

  9. Qualification– “EARNING THE WHITE HAT”

  10. Guide leadership on the five Qualification Criteria

  11. Ensures that all plants require that new hires (rehires) all complete a minimum of 4 weeks of ERP Training and meet all Qualification Criteria before being Qualified.

  12. Selection and Preparation of Trainers

  13. Coordinate with Operations to identify, train and designate trainers in each are of the plant

  14. Ensure that we have One ERP Trainer for Every Brown Hat

  15. Ensure that ERP Trainers remain with the Brown hat for the entire shift for the full 4 weeks of ERP Training

  16. Ensure that Trainer Overlock is taking place through routine audits.

  17. Sustaining the Culture

  18. Conduct three weekly meetings to sustain the culture of ERP: Weekly debrief with Brown Hats, Weekly ERP Trainer meeting and ERP New Hire Video (A, B, C, D) meeting.

  19. Act on improvement items designated during ERP Assessments

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Submit Weekly Schedule to DM’s, HRDM and Corporate Retention Director

  • Perform ERP Rollout Trainings for Plants needing ERP Support (ERP Rollout Presentation)

  • Conduct ERPC Training and Development Training for ERP Coordinators, ERP Assessments in Plants, ERP Corrective Action Plans and provide follow-up.

  • Participate in Bi-weekly ERP Division Conference calls

  • Provide assistance to D-1 Plants and plant start ups

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Previous experience as an ERP Coordinator

  • Ability to Train/Communication Skills

  • Organizational Skills

  • Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position would involve you to be in a wet, hot, and or cold environment, while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”). Shift may vary depending on location.
